The KELLENBERGER K10 is a universal precision grinding machine that combines highest accuracy, flexibility and productivity in a compact design. Developed for demanding manufacturing tasks, it offers state‑of‑the‑art grinding technology, a well‑engineered Kellenberger machine concept and a powerful control and software environment. Thanks to the integrated loader interface, the K10 is ideally prepared for automated production processes as well as cost‑effective single‑part and batch production.
The universal grinding head of the KELLENBERGER K10 provides maximum flexibility for demanding grinding applications. It accommodates two external grinding wheels Ø 500/400 mm as main and auxiliary wheels and also features a direct‑driven high‑frequency internal grinding spindle. The spindle is available in two speed ranges of 6,000–40,000 rpm and 10,000–60,000 rpm, covering a wide spectrum of internal and external grinding operations.
The continuous Kellenberger table profile allows flexible mounting of all standard and optional setups. A key feature of the K10 is the low‑maintenance energy supply via table interfaces. The dresser interface running along the entire length of the rear side of the table significantly reduces setup time while expanding dressing possibilities. The prepared loader interface enables simple integration of external handling and loading systems, further increasing productivity.
For extended machining capabilities, the KELLENBERGER K10 offers generously dimensioned X and Z axis travels of X = 365 mm and Z = 1,150 mm. The highly accurate, low‑maintenance linear guides on the X axis and the proven V‑flat slideways on the Z axis are equipped with optical absolute linear measuring systems, ensuring maximum precision and long‑term stability.
The B axis is designed as an automatic indexing axis with 1° increments, providing high positioning accuracy and a swivel range of +30° to –210°. This enables flexible multi‑surface machining and efficient handling of complex grinding tasks.
The KELLENBERGER K10 is equipped with the powerful Fanuc 0i‑TFP control system. The 19‑inch touch control panel, combined with the intuitive Kellenberger operator interface, ensures safe, efficient and user‑friendly machine operation.
The BLUE Solution software, featuring Object Guide, ISO Guide and DXF import, enables fast programming and quick changeovers, even for less experienced operators. The software is continuously enhanced with innovative features for process optimization, including the gTOUCH acoustic emission sensor, the gBALANCE semi‑automatic balancing system, as well as recent program extensions such as gMEASURE quality measurement control and gTIME grinding time monitoring for stable, efficient and reproducible grinding processes.
