Solar Energy: Green Electricity Supply from The Sun For Self Consumption
With 4235 solar modules on our roof, we generate up to 1.8 million kWh of electricity per year – this corresponds to the annual consumption of 360 Swiss households. The total module area of about 8300 m² – which corresponds to roughly the size of a football field and 1.5 tennis courts – has been optimally utilized for photovoltaic installations. By using the latest SMBB technology, we were able to optimize light absorption and electricity transport, resulting in higher and more reliable module performance. Aligned to the south, east and west sides, we achieve outstanding energy efficiency.
Intelligent Lighting Control: Optimal Use Of Resources
Our light-dependent lighting control ensures that electricity is never wasted. Presence detectors that respond to daylight individually dim the lights or switch them off completely when they are not needed. In addition, our traffic routes are subdivided into zones, so that light is only active where it is really needed. This intelligent control not only contributes to significant energy savings, but also allows for flexible adaptation to changing needs.
LED Lighting: Energy-Efficient And Environmentally Friendly:
By installing LED lighting throughout our building, we have reduced electricity consumption by up to 80% compared to conventional light bulbs. This not only saves us energy costs, but also reduces waste and actively contributes to waste prevention.
Promotion Sustainable Mobility
By installing charging stations for electric cars, we are promoting sustainable mobility. This is how we support the use of environmentally friendly vehicles and contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions. In doing so, we are making an important contribution to an environmentally friendly infrastructure and promoting energy transition locally. In addition, there are plenty of indoor parking spaces with charging facilities for bicycles and electric scooters.
