With 4235 solar modules on our roof, we generate up to 1.8 million kWh of electricity per year – equivalent to the annual consumption of 360 Swiss households. The total module area of around 8300 m² – the equivalent of a football pitch and 1.5 tennis courts – the roof area was used optimally for the photovoltaic systems. By using the latest SMBB technology, we were able to optimize light absorption and electricity transport, resulting in a higher and more reliable module output. Aligned on the south, east and west sides, we achieve outstanding energy efficiency.

Our light-dependent lighting control system ensures that electricity is never consumed unnecessarily. Presence detectors, which react to daylight, dim the light individually or switch it off completely when it is not needed. In addition, our traffic routes are divided into zones so that light is only active where it is really needed. This intelligent control system not only contributes to considerable energy savings, but also enables flexible adaptation to changing needs.

By installing LED lighting throughout our building, we have reduced electricity consumption by up to 80% compared to conventional light bulbs. This not only saves us energy costs, but also reduces waste and actively contributes to waste prevention.

We promote sustainable mobility by installing charging stations for electric cars. In this way, we support the use of environmentally friendly vehicles and help to reduce CO₂ emissions. In this way, we are making an important contribution to environmentally conscious infrastructure and promoting the local energy transition. There are also plenty of indoor parking spaces with charging facilities for bicycles and electric scooters.

Our building focuses on sustainability by integrating a biodiverse green roof, which not only improves air quality but also supports the local flora and fauna. This green oasis contributes to the natural cooling and insulation of the building, reduces energy consumption and supports climate protection. In this way, we are making an active contribution to sustainable urban development and a better quality of life.

With these innovative technologies, we are making an important contribution to climate protection and creating a sustainable future. Each of these measures shows that it is possible to operate in an efficient, resource-conserving and environmentally conscious manner.
