The Kellenberger machine range offers a wide variety of outstanding solutions for grinding, turning, and milling in all industries where maximum precision and flexibility are essential. Our series range from universal grinding machines for complex machining tasks to specialized applications. This enables us to offer the right solutions for all industries, even the most demanding and safety-critical ones.
The KELLENBERGER K series is characterized by a wide range of configuration options for a variety of grinding operations in all industries. The KELLENBERGER K100 and KELLENBERGER K1000 were developed for the high demands of precision manufacturing of prototypes as well as small and medium series, e.g., in mechanical engineering, tool and mold making, the electrical industry, and the aircraft industry.
The KELLENBERGER VM1000 is optimized for flexible, universal internal and external cylindrical grinding of complex workpieces. The variety of parts ranges from the smallest individual parts for injection systems in car engines to ball bearing rings and gearboxes to hydraulic components and complex components in mechanical engineering, such as spindles.
Workpieces for the aircraft industry, such as bladed discs or impellers, require smooth surfaces without steps. Thanks to their robust, torsion-resistant modules and their consistent design for thermal stability, the KELLENBERGER H2000 and KELLENBERGER H4000 coordinate grinding machines meet all requirements when it comes to maximum precision. The machines in the H series were designed for combined coordinate grinding and hard milling on a single machine and are used for the most demanding machining tasks, such as in the aerospace industry or in stamping tool and mold making, but also for high-precision parts in optical devices or for special precision components. In other words, wherever holes, contours, and shapes with the highest surface quality and tolerances in the low µm range are required.
The grinding machines in the KELLENBERGER U series are designed with extensive customer input as single machine solutions and multi-machine production cells with turnkey automation. Whether multi-axis interpolation or a combination of internal, external, contour, and form grinding, integrated drilling and thread cutting functions with multiple spindles and tool changers, the U series offers solutions for every requirement. The range of workpieces manufactured on the KELLENBERGER U300 extends from fuel injection components with sub-micron tolerances to large transmission components, from semiconductor boules to pump components, from rocket guidance systems to engine components for the aerospace industry. U machines master every challenge in terms of workpiece geometry or material properties and can also handle difficult-to-machine materials such as ceramics, silicon, and silicon carbide.
